It is in the eighties, when Ortiz undertook to include other areas and services within the construction business in a manner consistent with the path they had followed so far. CONDISA was created (1987), to undertake rehabilitation and restoration of monuments, and INDITEC (1988), dedicated to environmental works. At that time, Ortiz y Cia S.L. was then Ortiz y Cia S.A. From the 90s, the Company’s growth has been constant.

It has created new businesses or acquired others, according to the service needs of the customer and the business opportunities at the time. It is in the early years of this 21st century, when the organization became involved in a booming sector: the railway, 100% of the shareholdings of companies such as PROAKIS (2003) and ICMA (2004) were acquired, united under the trade name of ICMA-PROAKIS and COSFESA (2007), three prestigious firms in the railway construction and maintenance sector and which today allow us to occupy a relevant position in such a strong sector in our country.

All the new companies which have joined the group have also done so with the daily challenge that has always characterized the Ortiz Group: the effort to achieve the highest level of satisfaction and closeness with our customers, suppliers and employees.

Currently, Grupo Ortiz is considered one of the companies with most projection in the market, having entered into emerging markets such as Energy (ORTIZ ENERGÍA) which includes companies like ELECOR, JUAN GALINDO and TENDIDOS Y REDES DEL SUR, and with a firm commitment to international expansion, proof of which is the establishment of the company ORTIZ INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENT..
