One component of the Grupo Ortiz Diversification Plan that the Group has been executing over the past years is a Business Area that has experienced more growth at a faster pace over the past year. This fieldis the international expansion of its member companies

Thanks to this diversification and the fact that each branch of business handles all areas of that field, the Group has been in a position to analyse numerous proposals and many factors regarding our international operations: everything from the legal and political stability of the country we set up in, to those countries’ needs to develop infrastructure, to the presence of local partners who value our technical and economic dependability…, conditions that in 2010, Latin American countries like Peru and Colombia have met deftly. These are countries in which we already maintain a stable presence, a presence that in 2011 will be expanded into Chile and Mexico.

Italy, Poland, Hungary and Bulgaria are all home to Grupo Ortiz branches through Grupo Ortiz Polska and Ortiz Electra. Romania will also soon be joining this group. In Italy the development of solar photovoltaic plants in the regions of Puglia and Lecce. The Poland branch holds Railway, Energy and Water Treatment contracts, while in Hungary and Bulgaria, the company is focused on contracts involving motorways, railways, railway conservation, sanitation plans and water purification.
