Site: Yucatán State, Mexico.

Client: Jinko_Solar.

Contractor: Ortiz Energía Sucursal México.

Construction Period: 12 months.

Works Description: EPC contract for construction of a 97.95 MWp Photovoltaic Solar Farm and evacuation infrastructure on a 200 Ha site located in Valladolid, Yucatan State (Mexico). The Solar Farm will comprise 257,781 x 380 Wp photovoltaic solar modules. The Photovoltaic modules will be fitted over 3080 single file east to west trackers. Plant design is for 1,500 V and will feature 1285 string inverters, 14 x 6 MVA transformation centres and 1 x 2.8 MVA transformation centre.

The generation field is divided into 15 sub-fields producing 34.5 KV. This will all be monitored and controlled through a Scada system.

The produced electricity will be evacuated through the construction of a 34.5/115 KV and 70 MVAs substation located on the site, and a 5.1 Km 115 KV power line, and a new opening at the existing substation for connection (Valladolid Substation).
