The growth activity that Grupo Ortiz has experienced in recent years in the international Area and in Services, is reflected primarily in the significant increase in its workforce which has cushioned the the downturn in the Area of National Construction due to the serious crisis in the sector.

At the end of 2012, Grupo Ortiz had 2,534 employees, of which 1,557 were on a permanent contract and 977 employees are contingent.

As mentioned before, the biggest increase focuses on the number of local employees in each country where companies of the Grupo Ortiz operates. From this figure of 2,534 employees, 1,990 belong to the section of company employees working in Spain, including expatriate technicians  working beyond our borders, and 544 are local employees who conduct their activity on different international projects that the Group is involved in outside Spain, the  evolution of which is reflected in the tables.
