
From the special concern of Grupo Ortiz in order to guarantee the equal opportunities between men and women according to the Organic Law 3/2007, from March 22nd, for the effective equity of women and men, the promise of guarantee the real and effective equity is faced by promoting the power of equity and the principle of no discrimination as basic pillars of the company policy, assuming the principle of equal treatment as a standardization of rights and duties and not as a similarity preventing an evaluation of differences.
As a result of this, on April 2009 the I EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES PLAN OF GRUPO ORTIZ was approved, effective from 1/01/2009 to 31/12/2012 with the duration of the III Collective Agreement in which the mentioned plan is referenced.
The main aim of this Equity Plan is the full equal opportunities between men and women. Therefore the lack of discriminatory procedures or policies on the ground of sex as regards access, promotion, and training is audited.
Likewise, the Equity Plan of Grupo Ortiz is a tool for conciliating personal, family and labour life of workers, through specific extents allowing the compatibility of these. The following extents are adopted:

FIELDS OF IMPLEMENTATION
The parts of the III Collective Agreement of Grupo Ortiz have agreed, due to the nature of the collective agreement for the group of companies, the Equity Plan developed from the unique direction of the companies of Grupo Ortiz, will be applied to each and every company, although due to staff volume, some of them don’t have the obligation to establish an Equity Plan according to the Organic Law 3/2007 for the effective equity of women and men.
For all employees from the companies of Grupo Ortiz to whom the Organic Law 3/2007 binds the establishment of an Equity Plan and its activity is not the construction, the disposed in the present Plan is applied, except the extents from the Collective Agreement of Grupo Ortiz, regarding the affected matters disposed in the Law or Collective Agreement applied.
