QUALITY

From the Direction of Grupo Ortiz, there has always been a commitment to considering QUALITY as a unique objective that brings about total client satisfaction and the tools essential to satisfy contractual requirements, within the established terms and at a reasonable cost.

In order to secure this goal, Grupo Ortiz develops its work through a Quality Policy, supported by a strict System of Management, based on the UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2008, standard described in the Quality Manual and its associated procedures, documents which must be complied with by the personnel of the company.

When considering to this quality model as a fundamental aspect in the management of the business and the creation of value, it is reviewed and, if necessary, modified periodically. It reflects the constant evolution that, in the area of Quality, our Group maintains and that it is clear in the short and medium commitments acquired, which are:

  • Supply a service that satisfies the requirements and expectations of its clients.
  • Establish permanent training programs enabling personnel with a high level qualification to be made available.
  • Imply, motivate and implicate personnel in order to obtain their participation in the development and application of the System of Quality and Environmental Management implanted.
  • Maintain permanent contact with clients and subcontractors, in order to be able to collaborate jointly in the improvement of service.
  • Adopt activities for continuous improvement and prevention of contamination based on the real possibilities of the organization

 

ENVIROMENT

One of the basic pillars on which Grupo Ortiz sustains its labour activity, is the respect for the protection and conservation of the Environment. For this reason, it established years ago, an environmental policy that allows the environmental aspects of the activities to be identified and assessed, with the purpose of minimizing its impacts and controlling the use of natural resources.

In environmental matters, Grupo Ortiz is committed to:

  • Satisfying the requirements of an environmental character to be applied, as well as any other requirement subscribed by the organization.
  • Establishing the opportune measures for the prevention of contamination in all the activities that are undertaken and to obtain their continuous improvement.
  • Requiring all subcontractors, as far as possible, to act within the established environmental practices.
  • Taking all the measures necessary to avoid accidents that can bring about damages to the Environment or to minimise their effects.
  • To develop training and awareness programmes between the employees on environmental questions related to their work.
  • To take care of any demand for information by any interested party who request it to make public their environmental commitment through this policy, and
  • Adopt activities of continuous improvement and prevention of contamination based on the real possibilities of the organization.

 

All the areas of activity of the companies of Grupo Ortiz has a Quality and Environment Management System certified by the standards UNE-EN ISO 9001:2008 and 14001:2004 through AENOR (Spanish Normalization Association ) and LLOYD’S REGISTER QUALITY ASSURANCE.
