Aliagar, the new photovoltaic plant in Aragon with Grupo Ortiz

• Aragon will add 48,72 MWp to its photovoltaic park

The Aliagar photovoltaic plant will be located within the municipal boundary of San Mateo del Gállego, province of Zaragoza, 3 km from the river from which it takes its name.

Grupo Ortiz will provide the Forestalia Group with an EPC project including design, equipment purchasing, construction and implementation as well as 2 years of the operation and maintenance of this new photovoltaic facility.

The plant measuring 105 hectares will have a nominal power of 45 MWac (48.72 mWp) and produce an annual power estimated at 102,018 MWh. This is equivalent to the power consumption of around 29,000 homes. PERC bifacial monocrystalline panels of 440-445 Wp will be used with half-cell technology and single-axis self-powered solar trackers. A sub-station will also be constructed of 85 MVA-30/132 kV, which will connect the plant to the Peñaflor substation.

The project has a completion period of 12 months, during which an estimated 150 jobs are expected to be created.
