San Serván 400: 150 MWdc in Extremadura
The company FRV has once again entrusted the Group at San Serván 3, 4 and 5 to carry out the execution of the plants and the energy evacuation infrastructure, as well as the operation and maintenance of the plants for a period of two years, as an EPC project. Overall, the three new plants will have a total installed capacity of 150 MWdc. Grupo Ortiz will install more than 230,000 bifacial mono-perc, 210 mm cell modules, whose power output ranges between 650-660 Wp. It is estimated that this infrastructure, which will have independent-row solar trackers - each row of panels is moved by an independent system - will produce a total annual energy of around 320 GWh. This is equivalent to the electricity consumption of more than 90,000 households, according to Spanish standards, and will prevent the emission of around 71,000 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere. The plant will be completed in the first quarter of 2023.
